Presentation Title: Multi-scale CFD modelling for water recovery in membrane systems
Yong Yeow Liang holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and currently works as an associate professor at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). He is a chartered engineer with IChemE and a professional technologist registered with the Malaysia Board of Technologists. His research areas include membrane spacer modification, techno-economic analysis, energy analysis, and process system engineering. He has published more than 40 papers as the corresponding author in high-quality journals. Dr Liang has been awarded the Cendekia Bitara for the years 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023 (Journal Publication Category) by UMPSA.
